TripAdvisor Enhanced Attractions Content Solutions allows you to provide users with the ability to discover and explore local things to do directly within your online and mobile channels, as well as book tours and activities through the integration with Viator.
TripAdvisor has over 700,000 ‘attraction and things to do’ listings on the site, making it the world’s largest database of travel related locations (known as POIs) along with over 450 million user generated content (reviews and ratings) making it an indispensable tool for users to discover, research and book local tours and activities.
It offers flexibility, instant brand recognition and trust from the user as well as an access to a rich database constantly updated and enriched by TripAdvisor community of travellers.

The solution is a real-time JSON API which can be used to get dynamic access to places and locations (known as POIs) content on TripAdvisor. You may call the API, parse the response, and display the data on your marketing assets or digital channels (emails, desktop websites, web apps, Mobile, etc).

Where can I get access to the documentation?
Why do you recommend for travelers to complete their booking on Viator?
Viator only features tours and activities, with no competitor hotels and no distractions. In addition, all Customer Service is handled by Viator so you don’t have to.
How does TripAdvisor track bookings to the Viator site?
The API will return a trackable URL which will send users to the corresponding product on the localized, mobile-optimized version of Viator.com. All bookings done in the session will be tracked with a Viator tracking ID. The cookie duration lasts for 7 days across all sites on that Viator point of sale.
What languages are available in the API for Attractions/POIs content?
Attractions/POI content is available in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
What languages are supported on Viator?
Activity booking is available on the following Viator-supported points of sale (POS) and their corresponding languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish and Japanese.
API calls made with the corresponding TripAdvisor language code will result in a localized response and link to the product on Viator. Note: not all products are available on all POSes. For non-supported languages, the user will be directed to the English version of Viator to make their booking.
